| Area of validity: | Germany-wide in local traffic in 2nd class, not valid on long-distance services (EC, IC, ICE) |
| 1st class surcharge: | In the RNN, transfer to the 1st class of the railway companies is possible against payment of the intended surcharge for standard tickets. Different regulations outside the RNN are possible due to local network regulations! |

Note: You do not have to live in the RNN area to use the D-Ticket Job. If your employer has an agreement with us, you can buy and use the D-Ticket Job from anywhere in Germany.
Information for employers
The employer's contribution to the D-Ticket Job can be made via two accounting processes:
1. via payroll accounting
The amount of 46,55 € (minus 5% discount) is to be paid by the user via credit card or direct debit in the app.
The employer pays the minimum subsidy of 25 % (= € 12.25) to his employees via the payroll. The amount of the subsidy can be chosen individually by the company, but must be at least 25% of the ticket costs.
2. via invoicing
The maximum amount of 34,30 € is to be paid by you as the user via credit card or direct debit in the app.
Kommunalverkehr Rhein-Nahe GmbH (KRN) is the responsible sales office and settles your employer's subsidy of at least 25% per D-Ticket Job used (= €12.25) on a monthly basis.
Your employer wants to change the subsidy? No problem. This is done in an addition to the contract, which requires 3 months’ notice.
